Batch Tutorial Overview

Tutorial pages of batch model provide step-by-step instructions with recorded screens and dialogs to demonstrate how to run Batch Processing Model in MULTCORP 4.2.

In Batch Processing Model, single-phase/two-phase/three-phase flow CO₂/H₂S corrosion model automatically runs multiple times based on user’s choice. Batch Run enables corrosion model running under various circumstances, where user defines the range and interval for each selected parameter. Random Run enables probabilistic simulation for corrosion model. User defines the distribution for each selected parameter as well as number of replications for the simulation. Case-based Reasoning (CBR) Run compares the results from corrosion prediction with existing filed/lab data, tries to minimize the error of CO₂ /H2S corrosion model. However, CBR Run is only available for the single-phase water flow CO₂/H₂S corrosion model.

All movies are created using Adobe Captivate^TM software. In order to efficiently use those pages users should follow these suggestions:

• Use controls at the bottom of the tutorial frame to pause, move forward or backward in the tutorial.
• If you have a copy of MULTICORP 4.2, follow tutorials with a MULTICORP session open and follow steps from the tutorials.

If your screen resolution is 1280x800 or less, you may use the following tips to maximize the size of the tutorials:

• Temporarily disable any toolbars that may take up your browser space.
• View tutorials in full-screen mode (Select View/Full Screen from menu, or press F11).
• Reload the page after any of these actions

In order to choose any tutorial, click the links from tutorial menu on the left. While viewing tutorials you can see these instructions by clicking the Batch Models Tutorial link on the left menu.
